To Bone or Not to Bone...
I know it pains many of you who revulse or at the least turn squeamishly away at the sight of of the Boners: people who like to ravish the chicken carcass, gnaw on the rib bones, suck the marrow from the oxtail and all that business. You think that strange habit should be reserved for the four legged creatures of the earth. Too bad. I do it, I like to do it and I think there are probably a bunch of closet Boners out there who are happy to rip into the bones of a variety of carne, only they'll do it over the kitchen sink when the old man is not home.... Ha! It's a damn fine thing....

Spinning Plates and All
This gal has had too many spinning plates to keep up with her writing and would dearly love to return to this blog. So as soon as she tosses a few plates from their high poles way above her head she'll return with a few words....BUT...I must tell you that the two cities I visited lately, Greensboro, NC and Chicago, pleased me in the food department to no end. I'm surprised I haven't gained a ton from all the fabulous meals I've had over the last few weeks: Mussels in Yellow Lemon Curry in Charleston, the freshest Thai Shrimp and Crab Spring Rolls in Greensboro, Lump Crab Eggs Benedict in Chicago...Between all the walking and the yoga I've been able to maintain my status quo Smerf size, as Hank on 'Californication' would say....
So imagine yourself in Chicago with this night photo I took from outside my boutique hotel...the weather was divine- clear and blue and balmy, a total surprise for the city- so I felt like one special girl. Of course, my companion was the total gentleman and let me do what I do best-orchestrate the course of events. What more can a girl ask but to be in charge?
Soon...
